CAPPADOCIAN RHAPSODY

ITINERARY
Day 1 – Arrival to Kayseri airport, Transfer to city hotel in Kayseri, sightseeing & shopping
Day 2 – Transfer to Kızılırmak river valley and rafting down the river. Kızılırmak is the mother river of the ancient Anatolian civilisation curving its way and bringing life to the Cappadocian dry land. The river is fairly flat with a few grade 2 rapids. We use oar rafts with professional river guides to enjoy the great scenary and wildlife around the valley.
We stop rafting in Bayramhacılı village, a classical Cappadocian village in the Kızılırmak valley famous with its hotspring. We will enjoy the evening in the hotspring pools and overnight in tents by the campfire
Day 3 – After a hearty breakfast at the camp we carry on downstream with the rafts along the valley down to the fairy chimneys land. İn the afternoon we reach Goreme town and check in to our cave pension dug out in to the fairy chimneys
Day 4 – Today we start with the Goreme town open air museum of fairy chimneys after enjoying this magnificient landscape we head our way to the Kaymaklı underground city. Overnight in cave pension
Day 5 - Visiting the soganlı valley and its ruins of early christianity on the way we reach to the mountain house where we will start our climb to the Erciyes mountain (3916 m)from. With a 3 hours climb we reach to a high plateu (3000m) where we set up our tent camp and overnight
Day 6 - We climb up to the summit and enjoy the scenary of giant central anatolian plateu and Aladag mountains. İn the evening we return back to Kayseri city and overnight at hotel
Day 7 - Transfer to airport & fly home
