Sea Kayaking Package
Sea Kayaking Package includes 3 different Sea Kayaking trips. One of them is a half day and the other 2 are full day trips on diffirent parts of the “Bozburun” peninsula. We use large volume easy paddling single and double plastic kayaks of “Prijon” branded “ Sea Kayaking - Excursion” models and “Dagger” branded “Blackwater” models. The trips are guided by professional outdoor guides. Besides kayaks, we provide buoyancy aids, paddles, and spray decks. All our trips are one way trips we never paddle the same route back. The routes are mainly following the coastline. We paddle to secluded bays and islands always with great scenery of the South Aegean. The waters here are the cleanest of the whole Mediterranean, warm and generally very calm. Our service includes transfer from - to the Loryma Resort, snacks for half day, and lunch packs for full day trips.
Sea Kayaking “Amos”, 4 Miles, Half Day
With only a 5 minutes drive from Loryma Resort, we arrive in Turunç. Starting from Turunç , we paddle south, following the coastline of the pine forest covered mountains. Our 4 mile one way trip explores the next 3 nearby bays of Turunç. We will have breaks in the Amos bay and Baklabuku bay, where we swim, snorkel, have some snacks and relax. Our trip ends in Kumlubuk bay where we get picked up. Transfer time back to Loryma Resort will only take about 20 minutes
Sea Kayaking “Selimiye”, 7 miles, Full Day
“Selimiye” village was called “Hydas” in the ancient hellenistic times. İt is located on the western side of the “Bozburun” peninsula. This secluded area is very quite and peaceful. Our start point is “Germe” bay located on the west side of Selimiye. Transfer to Germe from Loryma Resort is about one hour. Germe is surrounded by impressive steep rock walls almost like a canyon. We paddle east, visiting “Kameriye” Island for a swim break. Then we paddle to “Sigliman” beach of Selimiye village where we enjoy the warm shallow waters with the sandy beach and have our lunch. Our last paddle is in to the “Delikliyol” bay, beautiful large bay surrounded by rocky mountains in great scenary.
Sea Kayaking “Sedir” Island, 4,5 miles, Full Day
“Sedir” Island is located on the east end of the “Gökova” Bay, near “Camlı Village” The island was a Carian city and dates back to 600 B.C. This island is famous for its Cleopatra Beach. The temple of Apollon, the theatre and the remains of Necropolis survived till this day. It is believed that the special sand of calcified limestone in the island was brought here for Cleopatra by the Roman King Marc Anthony. We reach our starting point , the river mouth in the cove of Camlı Village (1 hour transfer from Loyma Resort). Paddling through the clear waters with great views of the bay of Gökova and the Islands we have a swim and relax break on route. Then we reach the “Sedir Island” where we debark to explore the ruins and enjoy the “Cleopatra Beach”. After having lunch on the Island we paddle a short distance to “Tasbuku” cove take out point and meet our transfer vehicle.
